Mixed Media – a Mummy/Daughter collab!

So I had this nutty idea a little while ago to do a bit of a collab with my 7-year old daughter.

She does the background however she damn pleases with absolutely no input from me whatsoever, then hands it over at will to inspire wherever I want to go from there.

In other words, I’m like a mixed media Mister Squiggle!

The man from the moon! (Apologies to non-Aussie peeps who won't get this)

This is our first one, whaddya think?

Let adventure take you one wonder at a time

Jenny, that is awesome! And your daughter’s background is wonderful, wow! I really like your dolly 😉

Thanks Indy, I’ll tell her you said so!

Oh and haha, it’s not our dolly, it’s a character from a popular kids show from my childhood, Mr Squiggle. He used to take kids lines (or ‘squiggles’!) that they sent in and then turn them into works of complete and utter genius, with the support of a very, very cranky blackboard (who, for all intets and purposes, was really just an easel). 😉

Brilliant on all counts! You got in some quality ma-girl time, you’ve created a beautiful piece of art (using team work, no less), and you’re sending out a positive message to the world. Well done, Jenny, well done. xo K

      Bless your darling cotton socks!

BTW I’m STILL having dramas seeing your blog – I can get your feed started in google reader but can’t view the whole thing, and my computer just doesn’t seem to like loading your blog. BOOHOO! Gotta work this out…

Oh, hey. Maybe you could ask some of your friends “down under” whether they can access it. I know you did from the kiosk thingy…but maybe it’s a distance thing? Hmm.
I dunnno. But get it fixed, would you – I want your INPUT!!!

I know, I want to see your stuff too; I’ll try from my sister’s puter and see if it makes a difference. So bizarre! xx
