my BIG dream – no holes barred
To own an amazing and vibrant arts space where i can create and watch others create – perform and watch others perform, teach and be taught, make and drink great coffees ~or generally~ eat, drink and be merry with those who use this kick arse space…

Hey Juliette! Thanks so very much for checking it out and happy to hear that it’s given you some inspiration. 🙂

I’m so thrilled to cyber-meet you! Just checked out your blog – wow, your illustrations and paintings are absolutely gorgeous. I’m putting your button on my blog in just a second. And your holiday pics made me wish I was there! Just lovely, so glad you dropped in! x

Well, well, well! Jenny Wynter is back in the bloghouse.

Great to see you again. Have seen bits and pieces of your somewhat traumatic year on Facebook – I hope you’re all on the road to recovery now.

I have many big dreams, and yet very few. Weird I know.

I always had this idea of having a multi-use entertainment venue – with a small theatre, big lounge/Coconut Grove-style dancing hall, and a club type thing. Somewhere you could go and have multiple entertainment options to choose from.

Anyhoo, I need to win some serious lotto draws to do that.

My other self-indulgent dream would be to develop my own line of skincare or cosmetics. I can’t draw, style, I have no idea how you make make-up, or anything like that, but damn I’d love to try.

    Talk again soon, hopefully!

Nat! This is so cool, it’s kinda like a blog reunion of sorts!!

Thanks for the wishes, yes, I feel like I’m well and truly coming out of the fog now and – as these intense experiences can be – feeling like I’m actually better for it. Weird.

Wow, the multi-use entertainment venue sounds amazing. It sounds like with all your achievements on the theatre front, you probably are working in that direction you know!

Skincare! Wow! From my (admittedly layman’s) understanding, I don’t think you need to be an expert on what you’re making, just have good business sense and hire people who are smarter than you in the fields that are your weakness.

Thanks for sharing that Nat and so happy to see you.

    Hi there Jenny,

I just LOVED that! you’re a clever one…and obviously not new to camera work I’m guessing.

I’m doing Kelly Rae’s course too… and have just completed/still working on it for the rest of my life… “Dream Boogie with SARK” omg, it was fantastic!!

I was happily surprised to hear your Ausi Accent… I’m on the Sunshine Coast…

    now… big dream….

design a range of paintings based on chakra’s, colour, balance, harmony… yoga… that become a range of beautiful cards, and fine china tea cups and saucers, bags, art prints that uplift and inspire and change the energy of the space in which they hang for the better of all who inhabit the space, pass through it or visit.

    cheers,

    Denise xo

omg… I’m so inspired by this… I’ve cut and pasted it.. and might just have to put it on my blog sometime! I too would love to start Vlogging… and just having a chat on my blog just like you have done… I’ve never met you… but now I feel like I have a little bit… and that’s the magic of vlogging I guess.

      Hey Denise!

So great to meet you! I just did a TV presenting workshop a week ago and loved it, it’s funny cos the number 1 tip was just to ‘be yourself’, as it seems is the case in blogging, business, radio, writing….

I was on the Sunny Coast up until a month ago! We’re near Brisvegas now.

Your painting range sounds amazing – I actually don’t think that’s too far off for you if you want it, actually! The e-course sounds like the perfectly timed offering for you (as, I’m finding, is the case for many of us!)

So glad you’re inspired by the vlog, am about to go visit your site. By all means feel free to re-blog it, link it, whatever. I’m a true cyber-slorry now! Haha!

I love that you did a vlog (did I get terminology right? I’m such a newb as my 13yr old son would say – in a mortified tone of voice that indicates I know next to nothing & he can’t believe I’m actually his mother – eye roll for dramatic emphasis!). Wish I could have been sharing a cup of joe with you having that little chat.
Dreams……big dreams…….seriously it’s hard to narrow down because I find I’m still a bit all over the place – published writer talking about my book on Ophrah…my art in high demand……local theater work.
Here is part of my dream that I KNOW will happen (hopefully before I’m 50). I want a Ford pick up truck – circa 1950’s, bulbous front end type. It will be lime green with cherry read interior. I will have my two future bassett hounds, Daisy & Duke, with me as I drive around. When people see me they will say “There goes that crazy artist woman. What does she have now?” And they will say that because in the back of my truck I will be transporting some large sculpture type work – metal? Wood? reclaimed stuff?
So at least I’m sure of part of my dream. I think the more I become sure of myself, the more I will become sure of my dream. And can I tell you turning 40 this year has been the BEST thing to happen to me – so freeing to me. I’m starting to let go & yes, I want to fly – that’s how I knew I was meant to sign up for Kelly Rae’s class & meet all of you folks!

I know it sounds terribly cheesy, but the way you described the vision of you in the amazing pick up truck, renowned as “that crazy artist lady” has me smiling, smiling and smiling! So cool too, that a dream you’re so sure about is so specific and really about a small magical moment in life. That really speaks to me, thank you so much for sharing that!

    Jenny Jen Jen!
Nice video work my friend – you’re looking gorgeous, and entertaining as ever.
Just ONE big dream? Hhhmmm. I have myriad wild ideas and quasi-plans floating around in the ether. Maybe that’s a problem… too many ideas mish-mashing together. I should perhaps get lost in one at a time?
Certainly one of the biggest, and most prevailing, dreams is being paid to travel. Writing / reviewing / working / adventuring … ooOOoh I’d love it. Just about anywhere, anytime, at the drop of a hat.
    How about that?

Ooh, sounds tasty! I can see it now, you could have a much-acclaimed blog “Kathleen, the globe-trotting naturopath extraordinaire!” 🙂

I too, struggle with whittling it down to one point of focus. So many ideas. Hopefully it will be a long life. With your help, perhaps!!! (I really wanna write you a themesong!)

Wow, that’s twice tonight I’ve been invited to share my biggest dream. I went by the Wishstudio where Carmen Torbus wants to interview everyone about their passions and dreams… So, I’ll say the same thing.. Write a book about creativity and have an amazing art exhibition where all my paintings get sold out on the night and I get to dress up like a film star…
That’s a great vlog. Full of life and personality. I did a few last year but tried to keep myself off of camera and just be voiceover!
Nice to meet you. I shall be back for more, so keep up the good work!

    Loving your wit!

So my big dream is this… tomorrow I really am actually showing my work to a small independent art gallery.(Sssh it’s a secret in case I fail.)
But as this is big dreaming space – they will love everything, give me a one woman show, someone with a bigger gallery will then give me a subsequent show, I will make enough money and gain enough gravitas to become a professional artist and leave behind the bureaucratic world of teaching.
Also I will live happily ever after, loose a couple of stone without diet or exercise and never age passed 40 🙂
