So much to tell, so few updates. But today I find myself wiped out on the couch with sciatica which, while excruciating, has finally given me the couch-time to get my shooting-pain-filled* butt into gear and write! *Please feel sorry for me. Between Clown Doctoring, MCing some comedy shows, and doing corporate gigs, I’ve been flat out working on da da da da da da… …an all-new web series! Introducing the soon-to-be-seen-in-2018… HOW ME PARENT GOOD! And You Can Too! Around a year ago, I went down to Melbourne WebFest to pitch Viking Mama as a web series for the…

Suffice to say that the lack of blog posts indicates how insanely jam-packed the itinerary has been this trip. I shall attempt to summarise in point form: I walked up to our apartment (a gorgeous little airbnb which if you ever happen to be in Marseille you should TOTALLY stay in, it’s amazing) and squealed at the view. It’s a tough gig this fundraising thing. I am stressed. But trying to breathe. And taking massive comfort in the support of those around me who are jumping on board the mission to help make this happen. Like in life in general I guess, we have to remember in times of overwhelm that WE ARE NOT ALONE. Take for instance this weekend just gone. Saturday morning, the morning after the comedy fundraiser here in Brissie – a cause to which many fabulous comedians I love donated their time to rock the house – I woke up feeling sweaty and panicked.…

AGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! As I type this, I have exactly 18 days til the cameras roll and we start shooting this television extravaganza! ROCK! Which means…yes. I have exactly 18 days to come up with $9000. Breathe. Just breathe. The good news is, I actually think it’s gonna happen. Am I stupid? Yes. Am I naively optimistic? Naturally. Am I right? HECK YES. We’re on track. I hope. This Friday I’m doing a pizza fundraiser at my son’s indoor soccer club. I’m also planning to do as many guest comedy spots as I can between now and the end of the month…
